Sat, 13 May 2006 This show is another all music episode. It took longer to get put up on
the network than I had planned. I originally had intended it to be an
all hard rock show and had picked out the tunes and had the show
partially assembled when problems at work caused me to get delayed in
finishing it. When I did get back to it to record the voiceover parts, my mood had shifted somewhat and so I didn't want to be as rocking as planned. The overall feel is rock, with a few softer pieces inserted to smooth things out. Sun, 30 April 2006 On this show, I got to interview Sonny Combs. Sonny and his band Kitty
Kat Rodeo were played on my previous show and I called him at his home
in Indiana. He is a recent addition to the Podsave Music Network and
his sound is reminisant of early Chicago. I also featured the music of Cassandra Kubinski who has a definite Fiona Apple vibe with good piano and vocal skills. Giles from the UK have an Eric Clapton feel, and The Detonators provide a great blues tune as well.
